Marco Alvarez is a Senior Puzzle Editor at Puzzle Solved, where he is responsible for the Word Craze section. His work covers the Daily Theme archive, level-by-level guides for the main game, the Hard Mode virtue pack library, and the Logic Puzzles section. He also covers the Trivia Daily archive when new dates are added.
For each daily puzzle, Marco matches every clue to its answer and checks the letter count against the tile slots shown in the app before the page is published. If the game issues a patch that changes a clue or answer after publication, the correction appears on the next review cycle. The goal is a complete, accurate answer record that covers every date in the archive without gaps.
For the Hard Mode and Logic Puzzle sections, answers are extracted directly from game data files rather than entered by hand. Marco's role on those surfaces is to review the extraction output, check for encoding anomalies, and confirm the displayed answers and letter counts match what the game expects.

How answers are sourced and checked
Daily and Trivia answers are sourced by opening the Word Craze app and playing the puzzle on the day of publication. Each answer word is entered into the game to confirm the tile accepts it. Letter counts are checked against the crossword grid slots. The answer is only published once all words in the puzzle pass this in-app confirmation step. For dates that predate the archive start, the same approach is applied retrospectively using historical puzzle data.
Level and pack answers (Ann's Journey, Endless Challenge, Hard Mode, Logic Puzzles) are extracted from the game's data layer and cross-checked against the in-app experience. Where the extracted answer conflicts with what the game shows, the in-app answer takes precedence. The per-word breakdowns on level pages (letter counts, vowel/consonant splits) are computed programmatically from the confirmed answer strings.
