CodyCross is Fanatee's crossword adventure, built around an alien called Cody who crash-lands on Earth. The structure nests three levels deep and that is the whole key to finding an answer quickly: a world is a theme — Planet Earth, Under the Sea, Inventions — each world holds numbered groups, and each group holds five puzzles. A puzzle is a compact crossword where one highlighted column spells a bonus word once every row is filled.

That nesting is also why CodyCross is awkward to search for. A clue on its own rarely identifies a puzzle, because the game deliberately recycles clue text across worlds with different answers, and recycles answers under different clues. Searching the clue alone will often hand you a word the game then rejects. This archive keeps the full path intact — world, group, puzzle — so the list you are reading is the list for the board in front of you. It covers 9,893 puzzles in 99 worlds, 1,980 groups and 138,806 individual clues.

The daily crossword sits outside that structure entirely: CodyCross publishes one each day in two sizes, small and midsize, and both are archived here across 1,998 dates back to March 1, 2021. Every page is generated from the puzzle data itself, so the counts above are simply what is on file. Pick a world below to start, or jump straight to today's crossword.

Chase the letter count

Every CodyCross row has a fixed length shown before you type. The length rules out most candidates instantly — check it before committing to a word that merely fits the clue.

Use the hidden word column

One column spells a bonus word. Once two or three rows are in, that partial column often reveals the theme and hands you letters for the rows you are stuck on.

Trust the puzzle, not the clue

The same clue text appears in different worlds with different answers. Always open the exact world and group you are playing rather than searching the clue alone.

How is CodyCross organised?
CodyCross nests three levels deep: a world (a theme such as Planet Earth or Under the Sea) contains numbered groups, and each group contains five puzzles. Every puzzle is a small crossword whose answers spell a hidden word down the highlighted column.
What is the CodyCross daily crossword?
Separate from the main worlds, CodyCross publishes a daily crossword in two sizes — small and midsize. Both are archived here for every date from March 1, 2021 to August 22, 2026.
Why do some clues repeat between puzzles?
CodyCross reuses clue text across worlds with different answers, and reuses answers under different clues. That is why the answer you remember may be rejected: always use the list for the exact world, group and puzzle you are on.

Das Spielfeld ist das ganze Rätsel

Jede Lösung wird ausschließlich aus dem gebildet, was das Level dir tatsächlich zeigt. Das zuerst zu zählen schließt die meisten Einfälle aus und ist schneller, als Wörter auszuprobieren und abgewiesen zu werden.

Setze die längste Lösung zuerst

Lange Wörter verbrauchen die schwierigen Buchstaben und lassen einen Satz übrig, der die kurzen von selbst ergibt. Lang anzufangen ist durchweg schneller, als nach Dreibuchstabenwörtern zu suchen.

Nachbarlevel sind der beste Hinweis

Die Schwierigkeit steigt allmählich statt sprunghaft, deshalb wiederholen die Level neben einem schweren dessen Muster. Sie helfen mehr als jeder gekaufte Hinweis.
