This page collects every Puzzle Page Picture Cross answer we hold — 5,124 solved grids spanning 3,059 dates, from January 1, 2018 through August 31, 2026. Picture Cross is one of 20 puzzle types in the Puzzle Page app, and it appears with its own issue number on each day it is published.

Because Picture Cross is a picture puzzle, each entry below shows the finished image rather than a word list — the completed board exactly as it appears once every cell is filled. Pick a date below to open that day's grid, or jump to the full page for August 31, 2026 to see every other puzzle published alongside it.

How to play

How Puzzle Page Picture Cross Works

A nonogram. The numbers beside each row and column tell you how many cells to shade and in what order; the finished shading forms a picture.

Tips for Puzzle Page Picture Cross

  1. 1

Start with the largest clues — a run close to the grid width has very little freedom.

  2. 2

Overlap is the key technique: shade the cells a run must cover no matter where it sits.

  3. 3

Mark cells you know are empty as well as filled; empties constrain the neighbours just as much.

  4. 4

When a row is complete, immediately re-read every column it crosses.

  5. 5

The emerging picture is a real clue — once the shape is recognisable, the rest goes quickly.

  6. 6

Overlap the extremes: push a clue as far left as it will go, then as far right, and any square filled in both passes is certainly filled.

  7. 7

Mark the definite blanks as well as the fills. Known empty squares split a row into shorter segments and shorter segments are far easier to solve.

Puzzle Page Picture Cross Questions

What do the numbers mean?
Each number is a run of consecutive filled cells, listed in order, separated by at least one gap.
Does the finished grid make a picture?
Yes, and each puzzle's picture is named — that name is shown on every answer page here.
How many Picture Cross answers are in this archive?
5,124 solved Picture Cross puzzles across 3,059 dates, each stored as the finished picture exactly as the app shows it once the puzzle is finished.
What is Picture Cross?
A nonogram. The numbers beside each row and column say how many squares are filled and in what runs. Filling them correctly reveals a picture.
Why is the answer an image rather than letters?
Because the solution to a nonogram is the picture itself. The completed board is the only meaningful form of the answer, which is how it is stored here.
Do the numbers tell me where the runs go?
They give the order and the length of each run but not the gaps between them. Working out the gaps is the puzzle.
Pro tips

3 Tips for Puzzle Page

01

The board is the whole puzzle

Every answer is built from what the level actually shows you and nothing else. Counting that first rules out most of what comes to mind, which is quicker than trying words and being rejected.

02

Place the longest answer first

Long answers use up the awkward letters and leave a set that spells the short ones out for you. Starting long is consistently faster than sweeping for three-letter words.

03

Neighbouring levels are the best hint

Difficulty climbs gradually rather than in jumps, so the levels either side of a hard one reuse its patterns. They are more useful than any hint the game sells you.

How to play

How to Solve a Puzzle Page Level

The order that clears a board fastest.

STEP 01

Read what you are given

Letters, tiles or clues — count them before you start. That constraint is the strongest filter you have.

STEP 02

Anchor with the answers you are sure of

Each confirmed answer narrows the ones it touches, so the easy entries are worth the first minute.

STEP 03

Work outwards

Follow the chain from what you have placed rather than jumping around the board.

How we check

Verified Answers, Not Guesses

How we verify these answers

Every answer on this page is read from the game's own puzzle data rather than retyped from another site, and is checked against what the board actually provides — so nothing listed can use a letter the level does not give you. The counts shown are computed from the stored data, not typed in by hand.
