How does Sky Words work?

Read the available letters Each level shows a set of letter tiles at the bottom of the screen — these are the only letters you can use. Longer words with rarer letters are your first target.

Form words and place them on the grid Tap letters to build a word and tap a slot on the crossword grid to place it. Every word must intersect with at least one other word through a shared letter cell.

Work outward from the longest word The longest word in the available set determines which crossing letters appear earliest. Solve it first and the shorter words fill in naturally as crossing cells populate.

Tips for tricky Sky Words levels

Sort the available letters mentally — group vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and look for common consonant clusters (ST, TR, CH, SH).
Start with the longest possible word: it opens the most crossing cells and gives shorter words a foothold.
Country theme gives context — Egypt-world levels often use words related to history, landmarks, or geography.
Bonus words (words not required for the grid) earn extra coins — try every valid combination of the available letters.
Stuck? Count the grid slots first. A 5-letter slot narrows your options to specific patterns from the tile set.
