Identify the board you are on
The game shows a theme, not a level number. Look up any word you have already found and the index names the exact level, so you can open the full answer list for it.
Spot the repeats
2,365 answers cover 1,806 distinct words, so a word you have seen before probably does belong to more than one theme. Every board it solves is listed against it.
Work backwards from a long word
Long answers are rarer and identify a board almost on their own. If you have found one, it is usually enough to pin the level.
