Read the word lengths before guessing
The board shows the word breaks from the start. A 2-4-3 pattern is a far smaller search space than "some phrase", and short words are nearly always a, of, to, in or the.
Treat purple as a relocation, not a rejection
Purple means the letter is in the phrase but in a different word. Most wasted guesses come from dropping a purple letter entirely instead of moving it one word along.
